I received an excellent haircut from KK, the owner of Laurel Hair Salon, for my first time visiting this salon.

Laurel Hair Salon has been in business for 21 years and has two locations in high-rent neighborhoods, so I was pleasantly surprised that my medium-length haircut was only $95 (plus tip), which is very reasonable for this part of town.

KK did exactly what I asked for and I am very happy with my cut. My hair is shoulder length, wavy and grey and it is not the easiest to cut well, but it was no problem at all for KK.

The space was calm and I enjoyed chatting with KK. An all-around pleasant experience.

I’ll definitely be back and I highly recommend both the salon and KK as a stylist!

KK does the best blow-dry and flat iron styling I've ever had. I am from Malibu, and visit him whenever I'm up here in San Francisco. Fantastic wash too. Very detail oriented.

Best haircut I’ve gotten in SF! After months of doing my own subpar trims at home, I booked an appointment with KK over the phone a day in advance . I came in with a reference photo and got exactly what I wanted. KK was super detail-oriented and meticulous, with masterful technique in layering. He removed a lot of my dead ends and now my hair feels so much lighter and better. Total came out to around $100 for wash, cut, and dry. I will definitely be a regular at this salon from now on.

My friend and I came to Laurel Hair Salon after she started chemotherapy and decided to shave her head. It was an emotional day, but the stylist was incredibly kind, patient, and compassionate throughout the entire process.

He made my friend feel comfortable and treated the moment with so much care and respect. We're truly grateful for the kindness he showed us. Thank you for making a difficult day a little easier.

Love this spot! Kk took his time and really was meticulous. My hair looks super healthy and the layers are really nice.

I’ve been getting my hair cut by kk for over 10 years. He’s the only man I trust with the scissors. He takes his time, makes sure everything looks good. His prices are reasonable, for the amount of work he does.

Yuzi did a wonderful job with my haircut, cut off about 5 inches and had her re-layer it. Some stylists can’t properly layer my fine but thick hair without it looking like a mushroom top, or they just cut it without any layers, but she did an awesome job, I will def be back!

So easy to get an appointment. Good price good cut. Great people. What’s not to love
